Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I enrol my dog for day care ?
Either drop in, have a tour and pick up the forms, or email us and we will email printable forms back to you. Fill them in at leisure and return them on your dogs first day of day care. Please call and book your dogs first free day in advance.
Do you breed ban?
No, we do not breed ban BUT nor do we accept reactive (aggressive) dogs into general day care.
If you have a dog with behavioural or reactive issues and need help, please call us. We know and network with several people who work with problematic dogs on a regular basis. There is help out there, you don't need to battle it alone!!!
Can I tour your facility?
Absolutely!!! We have ‘Open Door’ policy and you are welcome at any time. We look forward to showing you around but please understand, that should you arrive during our busy drop off and pick up times, you may be asked to wait until a staff member is free.
If I am late picking up my dog, do you charge me an additional fee?
Yes, late pick ups will incur a fee of $10 for every 15 minutes, or part thereof, that you are late. Our staff have family and pets to get home to and appreciate you being on time.
But what if I am late due to an emergency and can’t get there to pick up my dog?
We will happily house, feed and care for your dog over night. Your dog will either go home with a staff member or a staff member will stay at the 'Club' for the night. Your dog will not be left alone, but please be aware that there will be a $40 charge, additional to your Day Care costs.
If I can’t pick up my dog, can I have a friend to collect him/her?
Yes, but only persons listed on your registration form will be allowed to remove your dog from the 'Club'. If requested, they must be prepared to show identification at time of pick up.
Should you require someone not listed on your enrolment form to collect your dog, you can fax us a ‘request to release (your dogs name) to (persons name) …… ’ signed by you and dated. Nominated person must show ID. Dog theft is on the increase and we only have your K9’s safety and wellbeing at heart.
Can my puppy come to Day Care?
Yes, your puppy is welcome but must have completed his second set of shots (DAP or DAPP), including Rabies and Bordetella (Kennel Cough). And preferably be toilet trained.
Will my puppy or small dog be put in with all the BIG dogs?
Yes, although we have separate area’s for different breed sizes and playing styles and can separate the pack when needed. If you have a small dog who likes to play with the big guys … and you are happy to have him/her integrated, we will do so. It is rare that the small dogs do not integrate well with the bigger guys and it is actually good for them to learn to mix with the entire pack, but we do rotate dogs by size and play style for different activities and stimulation.
Can I get a refund on my pass if my dog can't come to Day Care any more?
Refunds are at the discretion of Management and assessed on an individual basis. Approved refunds incur a 10% Administration Fee and Days Used are charged at casual rate.
